3 cups of water
1 inch of peeled ginger
1 inch of turmeric
2-inch cinnamon stick
1 tsp honey

To start, add water in a deep saucepan and boil it. In the meantime, crush cloves, black pepper, cinnamon, and cardamom in a mortar and pestle. Crush the ginger and turmeric too. Once the water is boiled, add all the crushed ingredients along with Tulsi leaves to the saucepan. Cook on slow heat for about 15-20 minutes. Strain the decoction in a cup and add honey. Your homemade kadha is ready.

Black pepper: Black pepper is known to work wonderfully to kill inflammation-causing infection. It reduces the risk of arthritis too.
