Junaid Khan, Son of Bollywood’s Perfectionist Resumes Shooting for His Debut Film Maharaja
Everyone is waiting to see Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan on the big screen just after the news of his first film was out. The shooting of different shows and films resumed after the Maharashtra Government eased the lockdown restrictions. Junaid’s debut film Maharaja is one of the first few films that have resumed shooting post the lockdown. It is a period film based on the famous Maharaja libel case. The film is being directed by Siddharth P Malhotra.
Junaid’s film, Maharaja has gone on the floors and according to a report in a news portal, more than 100 cast and crew members of the film underwent RT-PCR test on 6th June. The report also added that only 25 junior artists and some crew members are allowed in the set along with the main cast. Only a few members of the production team are asked to join in as the idea is to keep the team to a bare minimum.
“On the first day of the shoot, Junaid’s younger sister Ira Khan posted on social media about her elder brother’s debut film. Ira shared a photo with Junaid on Instagram where she can be spotted sitting on her knees in from of Junaid and showering love with a bouquet.”
She captioned the post, “She captioned the post, ‘Junnuu! This wasn't his first play or his first show or our first play together but.. today is his first day! Of shoot. And I love this picture. He's been acting for a few years now but it’s still new for me. He even acted my play so I should be over it...but I've been his younger sister longer than any of the other things.’
Though we are not only lucky to see Junaid on the big screen soon Aamir Khan will next be seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The movie is based on the Hollywood film, ‘Forrest Gump’, which starred Tom Hanks in the lead role. Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta has worked in ‘Masterminds’ in the year 2003. He has been a film buff since childhood. He has also worked in PK as an assistant director. He was born in the year 1993 and loves to do street plays. He once organized a cricket tournament for physically challenged people.
